About the event

I am grateful for the opportunity to partner with Mental Health Lou in supporting my friend and colleague, Molly Fitzgerald King, in the debut of her play, "Asking Toddlers to do Algebra".   "Asking Toddlers to do Algebra," serves as a platform to elevate awareness, cultivate a sense of community, and foster solidarity among those impacted by addiction. By delving into the lives of both those navigating recovery and the dedicated professionals supporting them, we aspire to unveil the often-unseen realities of addiction treatment centers. In addressing the existing gaps in addiction recovery care in Kentucky, our original production strives to spark conversations, ignite change, and ultimately pave the way for a more comprehensive and compassionate approach to healing.   Edenside Sanctuary is honored to host a fundraiser on Sunday 11/5 from 2-4 to support Molly and the ATTDA team in their efforts to debut this play in January and fight for long-term treatment in KY. Please join us to sample a portion of the play on the backyard stage, enjoy light bites, and hear more about the bill Molly has written inspired by her experience working in substance abuse care.  Tickets can be purchased and donations can be made here.   Thank you for your support!
